This is us and this is our story!

It starts many years ago, when our grandfather Quintilio with our uncle Gino decided to buy a small plot of land and to build what today is our house with the sweat of their brows.

Every small part of this house belongs to us, a creature that needs to be looked after and cuddled.

Our house has always welcomed many members of our family. Just imagine: when it was first built it was a home for ten people!

Then, in time everyone took a different path in life. I decided to become a tradesman: in those years the clothing market was undergoing a big development and, even though it wasn’t easy, I tried to find something that put my business sense to the test.

My wife and I have worked hard day and night….

Many years have passed since then. Children grew up and we decided that we could use such a big house to do something that made us feel alive, and put us in contact with other cultures.

In other words being confronted with a totally different outlook on life, combined with the pleasure of often having guests, which can also be also hard work.

This idea slowly grew in our minds. We also felt it to be a little strange, because on the one hand it required completely changing our habits, whereas on the other hand it maybe was a good opportunity to try something new and stimulating.

The restoration of the house was not only carried out to satisfy Italian law (no easy task, believe me!), but also to create a place which would make anyone feel really at home rather than in just any place.
