Uopini, that is the name of the little village in the province of Siena in which we live. It is in a strategic place because it is close to many wonderful places.

If we look to the North, we can see the fort of Monteriggioni, the walled city of San Gimignano, Volterra and its production of salt, and further down the road, Florence.

If we face the East we can see the gently rolling hills of Chianti, famous for its vineyards, with Radda, Gaiole and the Brolio Castle.

To the South there is the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Montalcino and its great wine Brunello, Pienza and its fantastic pecorino cheese.

In other words, this is a perfect place to move around quickly during the day, and come to home to rest at night
